FALL EVENTS

On the second Saturday in September, take in the King of Trails Fall Market Day.  Vendors offer a variety of crafts, fresh produce, antiques and other merchandise.  Many residents join in the fun with their own garage sales throughout the community.  The Crookston Market Day is just of many held along Hwy. 75, the “King of Trails.”

During this September event, when the sun begins to set the fun is just beginning.  Come create your fish-tale with us as we take the Red Lake River in search of that large catfish.

The united Way’s Annual Soup & Chili Cook-Off is held each October in the Crookston High School Commons.  Both amateur and professional chefs compete for the top trophy and title.  Come vote for your favorite as the “People’s Choice” award.  All proceeds from the Soup & Chili Cook-Off go to the United Way Campaign.

The second Saturday in October the Crookston Farmer’s Market celebrates the last market of the season, with food, live entertainment and old fashioned games for the children. There’s a petting zoo and pony rides and fresh lefse straight off the gill. Join us for this hometown harvest festival.
